Quarantine-free holidays to Portugal are back on the cards from next week giving you the chance to snap up some well-deserved sunshine. Portugal’s winning combination of stunning beaches, lush botanical gardens and popular golf courses means there's something for everyone.
The government requirements for those returning from holidays in green list countries means that before you depart from your destination, you must complete a passenger locator form, take a COVID-19 test and book your test for day 2 after you arrive back in England. You will not need to quarantine on your return if you have a negative test on day 2 after you return.
From Monday 17th May you can fly to Faro, in the Algarve region of southern Portugal, or Funchal, the capital of Madeira from Birmingham Airport. Later on in the month, you can fly to Porto, a coastal city in northwest Portugal. Find out which airlines are offering flights in the destination guides below. |
