	Natural, recycled, and more circular

	Our S/S 2022 Collection features more natural, recycled, and innovative materials than ever before. We have reduced our reliance on plastics and synthetics in favor of more renewable, natural resources. Plus, we are now using more recycled textiles and components to divert waste from landfills.


	So, how exactly is our S/S 22 collection more responsible?

	Certified Leather

	More than 93% of the leather we use is certified by the Leather Working Group, an organization promoting better environmental standards and practices throughout the leather industry.

	Vegetable-Tanned Leather

	By adding only natural organic substances during the tanning process, vegetable-tanned leather is free of harmful chemicals, leaving a beautiful leather that is biodegradable and gentler on the skin.

	Natural Materials

	All of the cotton in our S/S 2022 collection is either recycled or organic. We have also started incorporating more biodegradable materials from natural sources, including recycled hemp and HyphaLite, a material made from inedible mushrooms. Other seasonal materials include uppers made with MIRUM®, a 100% bio-based material, and TENCEL® Lyocell, a textile blend made of wood pulp from sustainably-harvested forests.

	By recycling man-made materials destined for landfills, like polyester, nylon, and other plastics, we are able to lower our carbon footprint and minimize our dependence on water.

	Better Outsoles

	Our outsoles are made with recycled materials like EVA and rubber, alongside components from renewable sources like sugarcane. This means we are using fewer non-renewable materials and plastics without compromising the quality of our products.

	By removing chromium, a toxic substance integral to the leather tanning process, no hazardous chemicals come in contact with the skin.
