Greetings, This is the second email in our welcome series (out of 4). In this email, we like to share with you a little about the concepts behind David’s artwork and show some examples of how they are used in the jewelry. Feel free to reply to this email with any questions you have. Sacred GeometrySacred Geometry is a term which describes a group of geometry shapes that holds sacred meaning beyond just a being shape. The idea behind sacred geometry is that the cosmos, earth, and even us humans are built on certain mathematical laws that repeat themselves in many ways. Becoming in tune with those laws bring harmony with nature and the universe. The shapes that appear in the Sacred Geometry Jewelry collection are known sacred geometry shapes that contain in them those same mathematical laws of the universe. Wearing those shapes help to become in tune and in harmony with everything around us. Some examples for this concept are the Flower of Life, Metatron’s Cube, Platonic Solids, Golden mean and the Nautilus shell.Visit the Sacred Geometry Collection Astrology TalismansAn Astrological Talisman is a magical object, which is created and consecrated under specific astrological configurations. These astrological timings as well as the materials (metals, stones, herbs etc.), the shape of the Talisman and the images and symbols carved upon it - all correspond with the intended power and purpose. A Talisman is an intention born in a time and materialized in a matter, In this sense, it is just like a human being. It has a birth chart that describes its qualities, aspirations, and circumstances. Although the Talisman is not a living body per se, it is a living intention with its own unique spirit drawn from the moving qualities of time and given birth to by the Mage, who acts as a mediator and amplifier of the Talisman's Intent. The astrology Talismans collection is designed in full collaboration with the Astrologer Michael Ofek.Astrology Talismans Collection BuddhismBuddhism is a way of life that strives for freedom of all suffering. The Buddha reached the realization of the source of all suffering and thought it to its disciples. It is a set of teaching that guides humans how to live a happy and fulfilled life. David’s Buddhist related artwork make use of both Buddhist symbols and concepts brought in sacred words. A good example is the ring of change with the words “This Shall Also Change” - a powerful reminder of the nature of all things - change. Another wonderful example is the Dharma ring with the Dharma wheel symbol on the top.Buddhist Jewelry Collection Kabbalah and Jewish MysticismKabbalah is a set of esoteric teachings meant to explain the relationship between God, the unchanging, eternal, and mysterious Ein Sof (אֵין סוֹף, "The Infinite"), and the mortal and finite universe (God's creation). David Kabbalah designs are based on ancient Kabbalistic traditions and prayers like the Ana Bekoach or the 72 names of god. The collection contains also designs like the five metals ring mentioned in the Sefer Refuah ve Hayim where it says - "The wearer of this ring will have miraculous success wherever he or she may go". Other interesting designs are the Oversoul pendant and ring which contains the name of the bearer of the ring merged with the letters of the word Neshama (meaning soul in Hebrew). These letters represent the Superior Soul or the creator himself who protects the bearer of the pendant.Kabbalah Jewelry Collection Ancient EgyptThe ancient Egyptians believed that when they died they would be judged on their behavior during their lifetime before they could be granted a place in the Afterlife. In this judgment, the heart of the deceased was weighed against a feather which represented Ma'at, goddess of truth, order, and balances Egyptian mythology is most powerful when understood as a metaphor for our daily lives. This ceremony of transition from death to the afterlife is actually symbolic of any transition we experience in our life. David has a wide collection of jewelry based on ancient Egyptian symbolism. Some examples are the Eye of Horus ring and pendant, The Ka bracelet, The Emerald tablet bracelet, A genuine Egyptian scarab pendant and many more.Ancient Egyptian Jewelry Classical ArtSome of David most loved designs are inspired by classical creations like the book Dune by Frank Herbert, the book The Master and Margarita, by the Russian novelist Mikhail Bulgakov and even a line from Led Zeppelin song Kashmir. Dune ring and pendant feature elements from the book and the deep meanings behind it. The Bulgakov ring has the letter M that represents the master. Encircling the ring is a Hebrew engraving of a citation from the book by Faust: "Who are you, then?... I am part of that power which eternally wills evil and eternally performs good". The Four winds ring is the ring for truth seekers and travelers. The Hebrew engraving around the stone means - "Father of the four winds fill my sails across the sea of years", a sentence taken from the Led Zeppelin song - Kashmir.Other ancient traditions and symbolismThe interest in ancient traditions pushed David to research and develop many more unique designs from other ancient traditions like the Mayan, Nordic runes, Japanese, Tibetan and more. “The models I create are keys meant to light the road for the truth seeker and to open the door to enlightenment. These keys are meant to open the door to our true selves that is within us all.” (David Weitzman)Thank you for reading All the best in the world David Weitzman and Ka Gold Team https://www.ka-gold-jewelry.com/ |
