I started in middle school when digital cameras were becoming really popular with my friends. They all had little point and shoots, some lime green..some hot pink.

It piqued my interest and I took over my mom’s small Canon Powershot camera. I would do photoshoots with my friends in my upstairs bathroom. We’d use the white shower curtain liner as our backdrop paper!

In the past, balancing my photography and my full-time job. It was really challenging to manage the booking process and ensure that all clients had a consistent, excellent customer experience. Now, I use a client management program to automate my booking process. 

Q: What is your favorite genre or subject to shoot?

I love shooting couples because you have two people, which is more to work with! My favorite is toward the end of the photoshoot once they’ve become really comfortable in front of the camera, that’s when the magical shots happen.
