Dear Kinder Beauties, You already know that getting your beauty sleep is super important (35 percent of adults report getting inadequate sleep—a number that, based on the cranky adults I know, is actually lower than I would have thought). Good sleep, of course, is tied to increased productivity and athletic performance, while bad sleep has been linked to everything from depression to type 2 diabetes to flare-ups of IBD. And that’s no fun. But if you’re reading this and you’re freaking out a little, please don’t! The last thing I want to instill in you is a sense of panic or shame. Not getting enough Zs is very, very common, and new research indicates that it isn’t the end of the world. Today I want to point your attention to a recent article we published on the Kinder Beauty blog: “Rest Assured That Beauty Sleep is Easier to Get Than You Thought.” I promise that even if you are convinced your sleep is terrible, you will find surprising hope in this short-but-important read. Sleep well, Kinder Beauties. |
