Hibiscus has a long history of traditional use with many health benefits. It has a tart and tangy flavor that complements the complex, smoky, flavors of tequila perfectly. Of course, this recipe can be made without alcohol, and it’s just as tasty.

HIBISCUS MARGARITA DIRECTIONS
- Steep 1 teabag of hibiscus in 1/2 cup water for 20 minutes
- Remove tea bag, add 1 tbsp. agave syrup or Cointreau.
- Put in shaker
- Add 6 ice cubes, juice of one lime, and one ounce of tequila
- Shake well and pour into margarita glass, or blend with ice for a frozen version
