Everything ends up in the sea: toxic run-off from agriculture, dyeing and processing from fast fashion, vast quantities of human and synthetic waste - it’s all there. We should cherish the sea.
Oceans cover 70 per cent of the earth’s surface and produce over half the world’s oxygen; they regulate climate and weather patterns and support extraordinary ecosystems.
There is so much we can do:
- Use less water & prevent excess runoff
- Choose organic & say no to toxic processes
- Reduce plastic waste
- Use less energy
- Raise awareness
