    Schools are set to reopen on the 8th March in the UK, but the lack of face-to-face teaching has not affected all children - or parents - equally.
    As in so many other areas, Covid-19 has exposed and exacerbated existing inequality.
    Home schooling widens the attainment gap between rich & poor.
    Lack of technology, parental time & access to private tuition are all factors, and working parents have been affected disproportionately.

    A whole generation of children have been disadvantaged, possibly for life.
    We need to recognise that there is no equality in home-schooling, for children and parents alike.
    Once kids are back at school this government must be pressured to make sure that the attainment gap is ended for good because
