Hi there,

We hope you have been enjoying the festive season.

As we reach the end of the year we wanted to send gratitude to you, our KLORIS community, for supporting us and being part of the journey in our third year since launch. None of this is possible without you and we’re eternally grateful.

We know 2021 has continued to be difficult for many and there can be a lot of (unnecessary) pressure to ‘improve’ ourselves at the start of a new year.

From all of us here at KLORIS we simply wanted to say, CONTINUE BEING YOU, YOU ARE DOING JUST FINE.

• There is nothing ‘wrong’ with you - you don’t need to ‘fix’ anything. 
• You are fine as you are - and guess what, you don’t have to have all the answers all the time!
• Everyone is just figuring out how to live. Remembering the wise words from School of Life founder Alain de Botton, if you ever look at others and think they have it all figured out or that their life is better, statistically speaking the exact opposite is more likely to be true! Because, as humans we ALL have things we are trying to figure out, annoying days, amazing days and excitement and dullness in between. 
• You are not alone.

If you do want some useful life tips that are free and accessible at any time, we love these for creating a positive and calm mindset:

• Positive visualization and mood boarding, as described in detail by Dr Tara Swart in her acclaimed book ‘The Source’. Committing ideas to paper both written and visual is not only a fun process in itself but also proven to help achieve and crystalise goals quicker. Setting intentions with tangible action plans helps give a sense of purpose and control over one’s life. Be as specific as you can and have fun with it. 
• Free breathwork with the Breathing Tree. Deep breathing causes the vagus nerve to signal your nervous system to lower your heart rate, blood pressure and the stress hormone cortisol. We are super excited to be collaborating with Rebecca on her forthcoming podcast series starting in the new year. Her site offers a host of free exercises focussed on different needs including sleep, gratitude, anxiety etc. Get them here.

Finally, a quick KLORIS 2021 Round up

This has been a big year for us here at KLORIS, some of our highlights:

• We raised over £330k from our community through our first ever crowdfunding campaign, backed by 297 new shareholders.
• Our CBD Bath Blocks featured on ITV’s This Morning
• We launched three new skincare products - The Lotion, The Face Cream and The Eye Cream - to fantastic reviews.
• We picked up five awards in the last few months of the year: Marie Claire Skin Awards "Best Environmentally-Friendly Packaging" and "Best Bath Product", Marie Claire Sustainability Awards "Best Sustainable Packaging – Body", Get the Gloss “Best for hand, feet and nails - Silver”, and Pure Beauty Awards - “Best New Wellness Product - Bronze”.
• We wanted to be part of the movement to help create a ‘Better Black Friday’ back in November so we worked with TreeApp to plant 500 new trees during a period when the focus is often on buying more than we need. We’ve also raised thousands of pounds for Choose Love this year, through sales of our Bath Blocks.

We’ve lots in store for 2022 that we can’t wait to share with you, including some exciting new products designed to deliver serenity and calm.
