| The 315,000 sq. ft. LEED-certified plant, the largest sous-vide plant in the world, boasts a number of sustainable features designed to support a greener future: solar panel parking lots—the largest community solar installation in San Antonio—that return electricity to the local grid, a robust water and stormwater management program to reduce water consumption, and traceable life cycle information for products and materials throughout the plant that puts us on the leading edge of waste management. Use of compressed earth block (CEB) allows for future expansion of the plant’s square footage by 33 percent without disruption to business operations.
