    How to choose your leash

We’re here to help untangle the often-overwhelming world of dog leashes.

When it comes to the connection that matters most, we go all-out to design strong and reliable leashes built to enhance your journeys together. Which one’s right for you and your dog?

WANT TO GO FOR A WALK?

Every dog-and-human duo (and the paths they explore) is different. That’s why the simple act of getting out for a walk with your dog on leash can look vastly different and call for a different tool to do the job.

Here are a few things worth considering when finding your next leash:

Heather and her dog Jackson use the Knot-a-Long Leash.

    Shorter Leash:

    Knot-a-Long™ Leash

Heather and her dog Jackson use the Knot-a-Leash.

    Longer Leash:

    Knot-a-Leash™

    LEASH LENGTH

When choosing a leash length, make sure to account for your height, your dog’s height, and the space in between. You can use a piece of string to play around with finding the optimal length for you and your dog, or opt for a leash with an adjustable length.

Nathaniel and his dog Winston use the Flat Out Leash.

    Static Leash:

    Flat Out™ Leash

Nathaniel and his dog Winston use the Roamer Leash.

    Dynamic Leash:

    Roamer™ Leash

    STATIC VS DYNAMIC

A static leash will give you a fixed length and a more responsive connection to your dog. A dynamic leash is a little more forgiving for the stop-and-sniffers and a smoother ride for the the dog and human.

Liz and her dog Bernie use the Crag Leash.

    Hands-Free Leash:

    Crag™ Leash

Liz and her dog Bernie use the Hi & Light Leash.

    Hand-Held Leash:

    Hi & Light™ Leash

    HANDS-FREE VS HAND-HELD

For a more interactive connection or a dog that needs a little guidance on leash, go hand-held. Hands-free is great for freeing up your hands while running, hiking, or walking.
