"An amazing petroleum jelly alternative. My pediatrician recommended vaseline for my 7 month olds extremely bad eczema but when I saw this as an alternative I wanted to give it a try. It works better to actually moisturize the skin versus creating a moisture barrier that sits on top of the skin like vaseline. It actually absorbs which means no yucky petroleum jelly residue all over!. I noticed an almost immediate difference in my baby's skin and over only a few days his skin has vastly improved. "This stuff is the best. I use it for so many things that I buy multiple jars at a time. Slather it on feet and hands with socks or gloves before bed, lips when they are chapped, face when you're sick and blowing your nose so much it hurts, kids' diaper rashes, kids' hands and faces to prevent and treat eczema (only thing that fixed my eldest daughter's eczema!), nipple cream when breastfeeding... I could go on. This stuff is indispensable. I love that it's not petroleum based too. Not sure what's going on with the Amazon pricing right now though..."

"Love! My daughter has very sensitive skin and I can always count on this product. I’ve been using it since she was a baby. I found it after being desperate to find a product for her diaper rash as nothing else was working. I didn’t want to use petroleum jelly because I find it disturbing to put petroleum on a baby. "I was told by my nail lady and a friend that the cure to callused, dry, cracked feet is wearing Vaseline and socks over night. I’m picky about my products & I didn’t want to use traditional Vaseline, so I thought I’d try this. After only one night of applying it and wearing socks my feet (and my hands) were like brand new!! I’m so relieved and happy. I can now put on socks and put my feet on my duvet without cringing from the deadskin catching onto the fabric (sorry but it was really that bad). "My name is coach Trey and I train Gymnasts in the Seattle area. I have used and recommended waxoline for YEARS to all our gymnasts to take care of their hands.
If you are not familiar with gymnastics, Crossfit, or power lifting, your hands get raw, ripped up, and bleed, especially in the winter months. Wearing grips makes this even worse around your cuticles. Waxoline really helps heal and care for your hands to help them recover. I recommend using it every night before bed and when you wake up.
The new formula I just received is all organic, has a richer yellowish-orange tint, and a stronger rosemary smell. This tells me that they are improving the formula.

​"My newborn had a ridiculous horrible reaction to something during his second week. Brought out the desitin thinking it would eradicate it like it always worked with my other five kids. NO. NOTHING HELPED. My son ended up with a horrific raw second degree open wound chemical burn on his entire bottom from a reaction to something in one of the creams. Pediatrician was no help and just recommended more creams that did NOTHING. I tried everything under the sun and it was the most miserable two weeks trying to get him well. I was so worried about him being in so much pain for such a tiny baby. What finally worked: using a small peri cleanse bottle with warm water to spray his bottom clean every diaper change, patting him with cotton cloth and letting him air dry for as long as possible with a warm hairdryer aimed from a safe distance, and putting a good layer of Waxelene on. This was finally the turning point from red, angry, open wounds to them shrinking and eventually FINALLY going away."
