Attract more wildlife to your garden

    Dear xqblykrazy,

Go Nuts for Nature this Valentines with our Special Offers and FREE Peanut Heart!

February is the month of love, so lets share it with our garden birds and wildlife. Over the last year the natural world really has flourished - with us humans being restricted in our movements, many of us took to our gardens as a way of coping in these strange times.

Many gardens were turned into wildlife havens, with bird feeding stations, nest boxes and wildlife friendly plants. As the wildlife continued as usual around us, it brought a sense of calm and normality to our lives. Simply being outside, stopping and listening to the bird song and even filling a bird feeder had, and continues to have, a positive impact on our wellbeing.

With Valentines Day just around the corner, lets go Nuts for Nature! From today until Sunday 14th February we have a selection of special offers on a range of food and feeders! All offers are available only while stocks last, so please place your order early to avoid disappointment*.

Plus, as a thank you from us for sharing the love with your garden wildlife we are giving you a FREE Peanut Heart. Simply place an order on our website between today and Sunday 14th February and your Free Peanut Heart will be added to your order.*

    Cold Weather Update

It's been a rather chilly few days for most of us, and quite a few of us have even had snow! During these cold snaps don't forget about your garden birds and wildlife who will be doing all they can to survive the plummeting temperatures.

Putting out high energy foods such as Sunflower Hearts, Premium Whole Peanuts and seed mixes such as our Hi-Energy No Mess will be a big help to many species. These foods are full of calories, and are a great food for the winter months. Fat based foods such as Peanut Cakes, Peanut Butter for Birds and Fat Balls are also a great source of energy, and will give your garden birds a quick energy boost when they need it most.

You may notice your feeding area becoming increasingly busy when the weather turns cold and so we'd recommend putting out extra feeders to avoid your birds having to que up around one area. We also suggest placing feeders in different areas of your garden or outdoor space to allow the smaller more timid birds a chance to access food.

It's also important to check that your garden birds and wildlife have access to fresh, clean water. In freezing temperatures water will likely be frozen and your wildlife will have difficulty finding a reliable source. Simply place out a shallow dish, and check regularly that water is available.
