It’s widely thought that nest boxes should be put up in spring, just in time for breeding season. Although it’s important to still do this, it’s also just as important to put them up now.

Nest boxes help provide important shelter for small birds during winter, to allow for a successful breeding season the following year. We want to spread the word that we really need to put our nest boxes up now, before it gets too cold.
