Blue tits or Cyanistes Caeruleus, are very common garden visitors in the UK! They are small, active and acrobatic, they are not shy of humans and garden feeding.
As blue tits are small and extremely active, they thrive off high-energy foods such as suet, peanut butter and sunflower hearts! Feeders should have somewhere for them to grip firmly onto as they sometimes feed upside down.
Blue tits like nest boxes with minimum entrance holes, 28mm is ideal as then other birds cannot enter. Blue tits can have large broods so it is important to make sure the interior is perfect size!
