I love these bottles, I can't stand drinking water out of plastic (it tastes different to me). They are a very heavy grade of glass. In the past, I have bought many glass bottles (paying up to $20 a bottle) and as soon as I would add the cold water the bottle would crack - these do not. I have had my first set for over a year now and I just bought another set. It's much better than buying one plastic bottle at a time and sending them to the land fill. I have to admit I use my Faucet Face bottles for everything, not just water. It keeps homemade milk and creamer so nicely cold.
