Did You Know Series❓Book Marketing
As the publisher of your book, it is up to you to make sure that it’s marketed accurately and clearly to your audience. Many authors may go about this many different ways, however, there are a few important things to take note of:
- Advanced Review Copies (ARCs): Advance review copies are bound and/or electronic copies of your completed book. You'll want to send these to booksellers, book reviewers, and to people you'd like to endorse your book.
- Author Website: Your author website is the go-to online space where readers can find out more about you and your work. A good author website links all of your social media accounts, news about your book, tour schedule (if relevant), and links to book reviews, etc.
- Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Amazon Author Pages, and Goodreads are social media marketing outlets where you should have a presence as an author. The more impressions and likes you garner across the internet, the more likely your book will get noticed.
