Happy National Park Week! U.S. National Parks hold a special place in my heart. I've taken my kids to 23 National Parks, and I've run through most of them. Trail running is my favorite workout and being in nature makes me a happier human. Since it's National Park Week, I want to motivate you to work out AND explore a national park. Check out Vacation Races, the host of 18+ National Park races and global destinations for 2022. I did their Everglades Half Marathon in 2018 (proof above!). If I don't commit to an endurance event and put it on my calendar, I struggle to work out. I've used the Grand Canyon R3, Croom 100K and the Everglades Half Marathon to motivate me to workout.
