'Bought one of these windproof smocks a good while ago and I've most definetly not regretted it. As a jacket it works perfectly fine keeping me from freezing to death on a multitude of occasions and keeping me from becoming completely soaked in unpredictable weather (Not technically waterproof but has kept me dry none the less.) .... The four torso cargo pockets are particularly spacious and have the big ol' canadian buttons so they should be easily accessible to anyone wearing gloves they also have bellows so you should be able to fit a good amount of weight before they break. ... All in all, I think it's safe to say this jacket is my favourite and I can see years of life still left in it. From camping, to day trips to simply travelling to and from school this jacket gets the job done and I'd recommend getting one in a heartbeat.' Although nothing like what we might think of a modern walkie talkie, the SCR-300 was lightyears ahead of its time enabling it to be man portable.
