We are firm believers that the best pizzas come from wood-fired ovens with a thin crispy base, stringy melted cheese and what ever toppings your heart desires! But the best pizzas need the best logs and our Grill & Chill logs will not disappoint! Combine them with our KindleFlamers for quick and easy firelighting every time!
    • Perfect for full-flavour grilling and long evening chilling
    • Ideal for cooking, best in a wood-fired pizza oven, but also good for fire pits or barbecues
    • A thinner split log, allows the fire to get up to cooking temperature quickly
    • Specially selected species for minimal spitting and smoke

How To Light Your Pizza Oven

    1. Take 2 Grill & Chill logs and lie them on the base of the oven
    2. Place 1 KindleFlamer between the two logs
    3. Lay two more logs across the KindleFlamer
    4. Light the KindleFlamer
    5. Add another two logs in a Jenga-like format across the logs and allow the fire to get going and up to cooking temperature
    6. Continue to add more logs throughout the cooking process when needed

    Sustainable Pizzas

We sat down with Laurence & Bridget from Well Kneaded pizza in Battersea London who went through their top tricks and tricks for making the best pizza sustainably, including:
    • Using sourdough as a base
    • Valuing your ingredients
    • Making your own passata
    • Thinking of alternative toppings

    Get Creative

The toppings you pick will either make or break your pizza, so make sure to pick good-quality ingredients. But whether or not you believe pineapple belongs on top, make sure you have fun creating your pizzas! Did you know they can even be great for breakfast? The Bottle Of Sauce in Cheltenham shared this great recipe with us:

    Ingredients

    250/330g (8.8/11.6oz) classic pizza dough

    50g (1.3oz) blackberries

    40g (2 tablespoons) pistachios, ground

    40ml (2 tablespoons)  honey

    120g (4.3oz) ricotta

    Method

Prepare your pizza dough ahead of time.

Once your dough is ready, fire up your pizza oven. Aim for 500˚C (950˚F) on the stone baking board inside.

Mix the ricotta together with one tablespoon of honey. Set aside.

Using a small amount of flour, dust your pizza peel. Stretch the pizza dough ball out to 12”/16” and lay it out on the peel. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly across the pizza base and top with the blackberries.

Put your Pizza into the oven, making sure to rotate the pizza regularly.

Once cooked, remove the pizza from the oven. Top with the pistachios and a drizzle of the remaining honey.
