In 1988 the movie Sideways clobbered Merlot sales....for really no apparent reason. Some of the best French wines ever made were 100% Merlot.

I am overstocked on this great example from Fuego...and to move it out, I am offering it at $4.99 for any 12 bottle purchase...or any purchase less than 12 bottles at a great price of $7.99.

Deep rich garnet in color, and on the nose, notes of blackberry and dried fruit jumps out. The finish is long and drying. Serve at room temperature with braised short rib or Insta-pot roast.
