Covid has had many effects on the wine trade. Restaurants are not buying, internet sales are up, and wine enthusiasts have upped their game with what they drink at home. I bought all the 1 ltr bottles from Caymus I was offered at the beginning of Covid... people were standing in line to get them.

You see, the 1 ltr bottle is basically for restaurants. You get 6 glasses in a bottle rather than 5. Though some sneak their way into the retail stores, most are sold to restaurants. Well, no restaurants are buying, so now you can have access to the last bottles of 1 ltr 2018 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon... limit 2 per person.

I can say with certainty when these are gone they are gone.
